Profile

Our client is a well-established water treatment company that delivers a wide range of water treatment services UK wide to a range of Commercial, Local authority, healthcare and educational clients. They are currently looking for a hardworking and keen Water Treatment Engineer/Plumber based in Swindon, to undertake cleaning and coloration on hot and cold-water systems, Descaling and disinfections and plumbing duties.
Applications will be considered from: Salisbury, Warminster, Chippenham, Cirencester, Newbury, Stroud, Trowbridge, Bath Bristol, Bridgewater, Taunton, Gloucester, Andover, Basingstoke.

Experience & Qualifications

• Will hold extensive experience working within the Water treatment industry
• Will hold experience undertaking remedial plumbing duties to a range of sites
• Will ideally hold the NVQ L 2 or L3 in plumbing
• Must be up to date with relevant Health & Safety legislation
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in using Microsoft office

The Role

• Undertaking temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems and interpreting the results
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment as and when required
• Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems, boilers, cooling towers, shower heads and flushing
• Using information from site to produce detailed reports
• Descaling and disinfection and tank cleans and dosing
• Building and maintaining a good rapport with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients
