Job Title: Water Treatment Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor

Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester

Salary/Benefits: £27k – £37k + Training & Benefits

Overview

A leading name within the Water Treatment / Legionella industry is recruiting in the North West region for a Water Treatment Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor. You will be completing ACOP L8 compliance duties in addition to carrying out legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold systems. You must hold the City & Guilds in Legionella Risk Assessing, and will be expected to hit the ground running. Experience / Qualifications
  • Strong experience working as a Water Treatment Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor
  • Will hold the City & Guilds in Legionella Risk Assessing
  • Excellent technical knowledge, including ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
  • Ideally will have undertaken Water Hygiene training courses
  • Good literacy and numeracy skill level
  • IT proficient
  • Experienced in maintaining strong client relationships
The Role
  • Undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems
  • Sampling from closed systems
  • Conduct CWST cleans, disinfections and chlorinations
  • Perform cleans and disinfections on cooling towers
  • Manage mains injections
  • Complete analysis on steam boilers and heated / chilled systems
  • Produce detailed risk assessment and service reports
  • Advise clients on found risks and recommendations
  • Maintain strong service standards
  • Adhere to set deadlines and performance targets
