Our client is an established and successful water treatment/water hygiene company that undertakes the full range of water treatment and legionella duties to a mixed portfolio of clients. The company is recruiting for an experienced Water Treatment Engineer based in the Epsom area. The successful candidate will have hands‑on experience carrying out a wide range of water treatment duties and will have extensive experience carrying out the on‑site analysis of closed system water. Applications from Slough, Watford, Crawley and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Good chemical and technical background, ideally with a City & Guilds qualification.
• Experience working as a water treatment engineer.
• Experience carrying out closed system analysis.
• Good working knowledge of the Health & Safety regulations and the water treatment industry.
• Possess excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
• IT literate.

Role (Responsibilities)

• Cooling tower analysis – CL02 testing.
• Reverse Osmosis.
• Testing and analysis of closed systems.
• CWST clean and chlorination’s.
• Showerhead and outlet disinfection and descaling.
• Perform routine sampling, temperature checks, monitoring air and water systems.
• Refurbishments, cleaning and disinfections, cooling towers, water systems, tank cleans etc.
• Must comply with the current Health and Safety legislation.
• Maintain professional relationship with clients.

The successful candidate will be flexible with a good work ethic.
