Due to consistent growth and business requirements, an opportunity has arisen for a tenacious and self‑motivated Water Treatment Engineer based in and around the Edgware area to join this highly respectable and diverse water treatment company in London and will include applications from Hatfield, St Albans, Harrow, Watford and the surrounding areas.

The applicant must have a good educational, chemical and technical background and be fully conversant with the ACOP L8 guidelines. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, be proficient in using the Microsoft Office package, and have significant practical experience working within this role and the water treatment industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Disinfection of mains water systems, tank cleans and descales, changing and replacing tanks, remedial work, flushing systems, water softeners, etc.
• Monitoring client’s air and water systems and ensuring compliance with current Health and Safety legislation.
• Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold‑water systems and cooling towers.
• Carrying out temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems.
• Interpreting results and maintaining and installing dosing systems.
• Providing accurate reports and maintaining paperwork.
• Building and maintaining a good rapport with the clients.
