A well-established company in the water treatment industry is seeking an experienced Water Treatment Commissioning Engineer to service commercial and industrial contracts across the North East of England. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inspecting and balancing water systems, with excellent communication skills and a good knowledge of health and safety regulations. Job description

This well-established company within the water treatment/hygiene industry is actively recruiting for an experienced and hard-working Water Treatment Commissioning Engineer to service a number of commercial and industrial contracts across the North East area. The successful candidate will ideally have extensive experience in inspecting and balancing air and water systems on large industrial sites. Applications from Darlington, Durham, Newcastle and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience inspecting and balancing air and water systems.
  • Ability to analyse schematic drawings and survey reports to commission systems correctly.
  • Good background in water treatment, chemicals, technical and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office package.
  • Good working knowledge of the water industry.
  • Experience in water treatment commissioning within the industry (essential).
Role
  • Commission air and water systems.
  • Calibrate equipment to accurately balance water systems.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Health & Safety legislation and company standards.
  • Carry out service work strictly in keeping with client’s specifications.
  • Conduct training of staff when required.
  • Inspect project installs when required.
  • Produce reports and prepare quotations.
  • Undertake some water treatment duties as required.
  • Build and maintain a professional working relationship with the company’s clients.
