Job description

Here is an opportunity to join a large national water treatment company who have a portfolio of prestigious clients throughout the UK. They are currently looking to recruit a professional and commercially aware Water Treatment Accounts Manager based in or around the Stoke-on-Trent area, to oversee clients across the West Midlands area. Applications from Stafford, Birmingham, Coventry, and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience:

• Come from a strong educational, chemical, technical, accounts, management background with experience working on Cooling Towers, Steam Boilers and Closed Systems
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Package.
• Good working knowledge of the water industry.
• Previous knowledge of working in this or similar role within the water industry.

Key Tasks:

• To manage the company’s new and existing accounts.
• Incorporate analysis of water treatment processes, ensuring the water treatment programmes are compliant with the current legislation.
• Carry out service visits where required.
• Manage workloads effectively – management of cooling tower, steam boilers, hot and cold water systems, etc.
• Management of office staff.
• Scheduling of jobs.
• Deal with Health & Safety issues and training effectively.
• Maintain a professional working relationship with the company’s clients.
