About the Role

We are seeking a hardworking and adaptable Water Hygiene / Plumbing Engineer for a leading name in Legionella / Water Hygiene services. The role covers a mixed portfolio of Commercial, Healthcare and Industrial sites nationwide, requiring travel according to company needs. The successful candidate will have a well‑rounded skillset and may receive further training.

Ideal Location

Candidate should be based near one of the following areas: Stevenage, Bishop’s Stortford, Braintree, Bletchley, Aylesbury, Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, Cheshunt, Harlow, Brentwood, Bedford, Brackley, High Wycombe, Bicester, Watford, Enfield, Slough, Cambridge.

Experience / Qualifications

• Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumbing Engineer for a well‑established company
• Plumbing qualifications preferable (e.g., Level 2 & 3 NVQ / City & Guilds)
• Working knowledge of ACOP L8 guidelines
• Confident in report writing

The Role

• Undertake a range of Water Hygiene duties, including showerhead descaling, cold water storage tank cleaning, TMV servicing and calorifier inspections
• Perform plumbing & remedial tasks such as deadleg removals, TMV installations and pipework adjustments
• Update site logbooks
• Write thorough reports
• Travel as per company requirements
