A healthcare provider in London seeks a maintenance professional to perform planned preventative maintenance on hot, cold, and closed water systems. Ideal candidates have a plumbing background with experience in water hygiene and excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities include water tank inspections, temperature monitoring, and assisting in safety improvements. This role is integral to maintaining a safe environment for service users.
As part of the role you will be providing planned preventative maintenance on hot, cold and closed water systems to HTM, HSG274 ACOP L8 standards for effective water safety control.
Ideally you will have experience of thermostatic mixer valves and taps, be able to carry out water tank inspections and domestic services, water temperature monitoring, water sampling, system flushing, shower head descales /changing, calorifier inspection and assist in de‑scaling and disinfection of Calorifiers and cleaning of water storage tanks. In addition to the above, there will also be planned maintenance activities such as planned upgrade works, refurbishment as part of our ongoing efforts to ensure a safe environment for service users.
