Responsibilities

• Carry out work on various projects designated by the client.
• Monitor air and water systems to ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
• Clean and chlorinate hot and cold-water systems and cooling towers.
• Check temperature and conduct routine sampling and analysis of water systems.
• Carry out plumbing work as required.
• Collate and produce accurate service reports.

Due to a growing client base, this well established and diversified Legionella/Water Treatment company provides a broad range of water treatment and legionella services to a mixed portfolio of clients. The company is actively seeking a smart, competent and versatile Water Hygiene Engineer based in and around South East London, preferably from Dartford, Grays, Bromley, Sevenoaks and surrounding areas.

Requirements & Achievements

• Ideally comes from a chemical background and has significant experience working within a water hygiene role within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
• Good written communication skills.
• Well‑versed with the water treatment/water hygiene industry legislation and ACOP L8.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organisational and client‑facing skills.

Role will Encompass

• Carrying out work on various projects designated by the client.
• Monitoring the client’s air and water systems and ensuring compliance with current Health and Safety legislation.
• Cleaning and chlorination of hot and cold‑water systems and cooling towers.
• Checking temperature, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems.
• Carrying out plumbing work as and when required.
• Collating and producing accurate service reports whilst maintaining company standards.
• Liaising with clients regularly – building and maintaining good rapport.

Overall, the successful candidate will be flexible and reliable, possess a strong work ethic, work independently and under pressure, and be prepared to travel extensively.
