Qualifications

  • Previous experience working as a water hygiene engineer within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
  • A good working knowledge of current water industry guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out cleaning, disinfection and chlorination on hot and cold water systems.
  • Undertake temperature monitoring and routine sampling.
  • Install and maintain dosing systems.
  • Maintenance and servicing of TMVs.
  • Cleaning and disinfection of CWSTs.
  • Showerhead cleaning.
  • Maintain good relationships with clients.

Our client is a well-established water treatment company that provides a variety of professional water treatment/water hygiene services to long‑standing national clients. Due to recent contract wins, they are now recruiting for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to cover a mixed portfolio of contracts in and around the Darlington area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful water company that can offer further training into cooling towers, closed systems and steam boilers. Consideration will be given to applicants from Barnard Castle, Richmond, Newton Aycliffe, North Allerton and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience working as a water hygiene engineer within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
  • A good working knowledge of current water industry guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • IT literate.
Key Role
  • Carry out cleaning, disinfection and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
  • Undertake temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems.
  • Install and maintain dosing systems.
  • Maintenance and servicing of TMVs.
  • Cleaning and disinfection of CWSTs.
  • Showerhead cleaning.
  • Maintain and build a good working relationship with the company’s portfolio of clients.
