Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Salary/Benefits: 25k - 34k + Training & Benefits

Our client is a well‑known name within the Water Hygiene industry, who are growing their presence across the Northern region. The role will require travel to a variety of sites, to oversee the safety and compliance management in line with ACOP L8 guidelines. You will be responsible for your own contracts, ensuring works are completed to agreed scope and deadline, and maintaining strong client relationships. This is an exciting opportunity for a hardworking engineer to join a growing outfit and build on their existing experience. You will be travelling across: Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, Castleford, Dewsbury, Batley, Holmfirth, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Skipton, Knaresborough, Harrogate, Garforth, Wetherby, Pontefract, York, Selby, Doncaster, Pocklington, Hull, Goole, Thorne, Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Manchester, Glossop, Stockport, Bolton, Blackburn, Warrington, Burnley, Colne.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Must have experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
• It would be beneficial to have experience working with Process / Technical water systems
• Flexible to travel as required
• Comfortable liaising directly with clients
• Able to manage own workload
• Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• Confident using IT software

The Role:

• Travelling across the Northern region to complete PPM water hygiene duties
• Showerhead descales
• TMV servicing and failsafes
• Acid descales
• Showerhead cleans
• CWST inspections, cleans and disinfections
• Cooling tower cleans and disinfections
• Flushing on little used outfits
• Producing regular service reports
• Managing own contracts and clients, ensuring to meet deadlines and provide high levels of service
• Being a key point of contact for clients
• Arranging own diary and appointments
