Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Bolton, Lancashire.

Expanding Water Company are seeking the services of a mouldable Water Hygiene Technician to work on contract across the North West of England. Applicants will have a good attitude and be eager to develop within the industry. Experience undertaking a range of water compliance tasks is essential and you must be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of L8 guidelines. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading name within the industry that can support the right candidate through further training and development.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer, Monitoring Engineer, Environmental Service Technician, or similar role.
• Practical experience working to HSG and ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Professional manner.
• Able to work on their own or as part of a team.
• Good communicator and able to interact with clients at all levels.

• Temperature monitoring.
• Legionella sampling.
• Working on commercial and industrial sites on domestic hot and cold-water systems.
• Showerhead descales.
• Calorifiers flushing.
• Cleans & disinfections on storage tanks.
• Cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
• TMV inspection, testing and servicing.
• CWST inspections.
• Basic remedial works when required.
