Waste / Yard Operative

Are you a hardworking, reliable, and committed to keeping our environment clean and safe? We are looking for a Waste yard operative to support our day-to-day operations at our busy recycling waste management facility.

Duties

• Assist customers and colleagues with waste disposal and recycling activities.
• Sort, move and process waste materials safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organised yard environment.
• Follow all health, safety and environmental guidelines.
• Manual labouring tasks.

Requirements

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Comfortable with outdoor, physical work in all weather conditions.
• Team player, friendly, approachable with good communication skills.
• Physically fit due to being very hands on.

• Catterick DL10 7JD
• Northallerton DL6 2YD
• Ripon HG4 1TT

Hours

• 08:00 - 16:00 - Winter hours
• 08:00 - 17:00 - Spring/Summer hours
• Full-time shifts: 40 hours
• Part-time shifts: 16-24 hours

Please note you will be working on a shift pattern and weekends will be mandatory.
