A healthcare organization in Bath is seeking a Waste Collection Service professional to ensure effective waste management on-site. This role involves working closely with various departments, collecting clinical and non-clinical waste, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients. Key qualifications include good communication skills and a valid driving licence with C1 category. The position requires varied shifts covering 7 days a week and offers a supportive work culture.
Here at the Royal United Hospitals, Bath we manage and collect a combined figure of around 1300 tonnes a year of clinical waste, offensive waste, general waste, recyclable waste and other waste streams. We recycle where we can and take the business of managing waste on site seriously. We are proud of our small in-house team who cover 365 days a year, ensuring the site is clear of waste while working with clinical and non-clinical colleagues. This is a physical and fast-paced job; every day is different and presents new challenges. This is an important role providing and maintaining a positive environment for patients and colleagues on site.
