Job description

Operatives Required for Specialist Waste Management Company - Northfleet

Manpower is recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist waste management company for 2 Operatives to join their team in Northfleet on a temp to perm basis.

About the Role

• 2 x Operatives needed
• Shift patterns: 1 Operative - 5am to 3pm, 1 Operative - 9am to 7pm
• 45 hours per week (including 1 hour unpaid lunch)
• GBP14.67 per hour pay rate
• 12-week temporary to permanent contract
• Overtime available once permanent

Requirements

• Valid FLT (Forklift Truck) license essential
• Comfortable working in physically demanding, very hands-on so not just forklift work and prepared to handle heavy (2 man lifts where applicable) and dirty products.
• Experience handling hazardous waste ideal, Garage Waste, oils batteries, filters etc
• Methodical approach with a strong focus on safety
