Responsibilities

• Circuit design and prototyping
• Circuit board design and layout
• System integration
• Cable and harness design, development and manufacture
• Product development for various systems

Skills

Familiar with standard electronic components and their properties

Electronics fault-finding techniques

Soldering (through-hole and surface mount)

Assembly of prototype circuits

Testing of circuits using standard electronic test equipment

Manufacture of cable and cable harnesses

Interpret circuit diagrams

Microsoft office applications

Education

Apprenticeship, NVQ, ONC or above qualification in Electronics
