GXO is currently on the look‑out for talented and enthusiastic Warehouse Team Leader to join our site in Wellingborough and continue to deliver our high standards with our high performing teams.

This is a full‑time, permanent position. You will be working on a 4‑week rotational shift pattern, as follows: Weeks 1 & 2: Monday – Friday, 06:15 – 14:15, Week 3: Monday – Sunday, 14:15 – 22:15 and Week 4: Wednesday – Friday, 14:15 – 22:15. Therefore, flexibility is required – this is logistics after all!

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £32,000.00 per annum and 31 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
  • Ensure all aspects of QSHE standards are maintained and the site rules and regulations adhered to
  • Create and maintain an environment which encourages employee participation and effective team working
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and best practice
  • Ensure that the daily workload is completed with the labour required and within the timescales given
  • Maintain and ensure all personnel adhere to the procedures and standard set
  • Monitor the performance of individual members of the team and the performance of the department
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Experience of working in a complex, fast‑moving environment in a similar management role
  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven record of effective people management skills
  • Team motivation and development
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
