Job summary

A leading recruitment company in the UK is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to manage and support a team of warehouse operatives. You will be responsible for allocating tasks, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring that picking, packing, and dispatching activities are completed accurately and on time. Ideal candidates should have previous experience in a warehouse environment and strong leadership skills, alongside the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Competitive hourly rate at £15.50.

Qualifications

  • Desirable previous team leader or step-up experience.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills are a must.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of warehouse operatives.

Salary: £15.50 per hour

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our clients successful team.

Duties of a Warehouse Team Leader
  • Leading and supporting a team of warehouse operatives on shift
  • Allocating daily tasks and monitoring workload and performance
  • Ensuring picking, packing, and dispatch activities are completed accurately and on time
  • Maintaining high standards of health & safety and housekeeping
  • Assisting with training and supporting new starters
  • Acting as a first point of contact for team queries during the shift
  • Escalating issues to supervisors or management when required
What we would like from a Warehouse Team Leader
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment
  • Team leader or step-up experience is desirable
  • Good communication and leadership skills
