Warehouse Support Operator

Location: Coventry, West Midlands, CV3 2RQ
Salary: Competitive, DOE
Contract: Permanent, Full time

We deliver innovative, cost effective and quality products and solutions for the advanced wound care industry helping to improve patient care and wellbeing.

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about driving change and contributing positively to our team. This role offers the chance to work autonomously while being part of a supportive and innovative environment. The role is responsible for storing and movement of all raw materials and consumables, work in progress and final product in accordance with the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures.

Warehouse Support Operator – Duties to include
  • Receiving and inspecting of raw materials and consumables against SFM specifications
  • Full support of the stocktake procedure
  • Updating of the Orderwise system with any and all stock movements
  • Apply appropriate status and identification labels upon receipt of materials
  • Goods Inwards receiving for all deliveries to SFM
  • Appropriate storage of all materials
  • The supply of consumables to all production areas to ensure continuous running of process’s
  • Preparation and loading of final product for shipment
  • Assist bulk tanker deliveries and collection of hazardous flammable materials
  • Assist in the replacement of IBC’s
  • Maintain agreed housekeeping standards
  • Assist in minor maintenance activities
  • Any other duties as requested by the Company
Warehouse Support Operator – Key skills / abilities
  • Demonstrable experience of a production Warehouse environment
  • Counterbalance Forklift license is required
  • Pedestrian Reach Pallet Truck licence would be beneficial
  • Experience in Kaizen activities is not necessary but would be beneficial
  • Experience of HSE good practise
  • Computer literacy and Microsoft Office experience
  • Orderwise experience would be beneficial
  • Experience of working within a small team environment
  • Reliability and flexibility are an essential requirement
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work on own initiative
