Job description

Our client is looking for a physically fit and competent Warehouse Supervisor to work within their friendly and busy team environment.

This role has been created to delegate certain responsibilities from the Manager, enabling him to focus on other areas.

Technical knowledge is required, but training will be provided to a bright, quick learner who is enthusiastic. You will need to learn about sizes and lengths of products and be numerate and accurate. Some work may be repetitive, involving cutting and reeling equipment. You will be responsible for product picking, and a forklift license would be an advantage but is not essential, as full training will be given.

You will oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including working practices, prioritizing, supervising, and assigning duties to staff. You should be able to take responsibility for workflow and staff management, working on your own initiative.

This role requires a hands-on individual who is not afraid to get their hands dirty!

You must be physically fit and capable of heavy lifting when required.

Hours are from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Salary is circa GBP 30K plus bonuses.
