Jackson Hogg is currently recruiting for a Deputy Warehouse Manager to support the Warehouse Manager in running a busy e-commerce distribution centre.

Role Overview

As Deputy Warehouse Manager, you’ll be second‑in‑command, overseeing day‑to‑day operations, managing staff, and ensuring smooth workflow across inbound, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high service levels, operational efficiency, stock accuracy, and health & safety standards.

Shift Pattern

4 days per week, Saturday always off.

Days off come in pairs and rotate weekly:

  • Week 1: Sun & Mon off
  • Week 2: Tue & Wed off
  • Week 3: Thu & Fri off
  • Midweek shifts: 12 hours (including break)
  • Sunday shifts: 7.5 hours (including break)

Pattern repeats every 3 weeks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of warehouse operatives to meet KPIs and SLAs.
  • Support workflow planning in line with sales demand and peak periods.
  • Monitor and improve order accuracy, dispatch speed, and overall productivity.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data and operational insights.
  • Maintain high standards of health & safety, cleanliness, and organisation.
  • Deputise for the Warehouse Manager when required.
