Job Title:Warehouse Shift Manager

Location:West Thurrock, RM20 3LB

Job Length:Permanent

Working Hours:40 hours per week. Working on a 2 shift rotating pattern, either 6am to 2pm or 2pm to 10pm on a Monday to Friday basis. Flexibility require to work outside of these hours and to cover other shifts, including nights 10pm to 6am, to suit business needs.

About the role

If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for a Warehouse Shift Manager. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role will play a key part of our succuss journey and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:

Role Responsibilities

• Providing skills required to deliver to our customers on time and in full
• Providing a high quality service to suit customers’ needs
• Working closely with the transport and office teams to ensure a smooth running of operations and meeting overall site objectives
• Supervising a team of operatives on the late shift
• Holding health and safety at the forefront of all warehouse procedures to maintain a safe working environment at all times
• Check for picking accuracy and breakages with investigations where necessary.

Experience and Key Attributes

• IT Literate with experience using MS Office and SAP.
• Experience managing or supervising a warehouse team
