Overview

Here at GXO, we are recruiting for a Warehouse Shift Manager to join our Sainsbury's team in Sherburn in Elmet. As a Warehouse Shift Manager at our multi temperature site, you will be reporting into the Operations Manager and be responsible for managing and leading your own team helping to coach, motivate and engage them to create a great team culture with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead the shift, striving to maximise productivity, quality, and efficiency across the Warehouse
  • Drive performance through effective monitoring of coaching and performance
  • Review all aspects of shift performance, identifying areas for improvement to ensure efficient and accurate process
  • Leading the team on shift proactively to motivate high performance, develop positive engagement and good communication across the operation
  • Management of the warehouse training requirement and function

Benefits

This is a full time, permanent position working on a rotating 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 06:00 till 18:00 and 10:00 till 22:00. We're looking to offer a salary of up to £42,600.00 per annum, and 22 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays).
