Job description

Pick orders (using a voice-activated headset) and load cages ready for store deliveries in an accurate and efficient manner, potentially working in the freezer section, chiller, or ambient store.

You could be working in conditions of -25 in the Freezer section, and you will have the correct PPE to work in this climate.

Manage your time effectively to achieve pick figure targets and job standards set out by the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager. Comply with all Health & Safety responsibilities in line with Company policies and procedures.

Essential skills include time management, accuracy, energy, and a 'can-do' attitude, with the ability to work to KPI targets.

Desirable experience includes previous warehouse experience, experience of using a 'voice pick system,' and manual handling experience. Previous experience may include: Warehouse Picker, Warehouse Assistant, Warehouse Apprentice, Warehouse Picking, Order Picker, Warehouse Operative, Goods Out, Retail Assistant, Order Packer, Warehouse Assistant, Distribution Centre Operative, or Packing Operative.
