Overview

Bespak are looking for a Warehouse Operator for the Holmes Chapel site, CW4 8BE. The salary range for this onsite temp role is £39,328, which includes the shift allowance. The salary reflects a 12 month so will be pro-rated for your time in the role. We estimate that this will run for 6-months but there may be the potential for further opportunities beyond this.

Working pattern

Alternating days / evenings – Week 1: Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm | Week 2: 2pm to 10pm / alternating.

Role purpose

As a Warehouse Operator, you\'ll ensure accurate and timely completion of all warehouse activities, supporting production and customer needs. You will handle goods receipt, general warehouse tasks, and dispatch, adhering to operating practices and safety procedures. You\'ll operate material handling equipment, conduct inventory counts, and maintain accurate records. You will also perform ancillary tasks like site transport, equipment checks, and contribute to a safe and organized work environment. You will be expected to follow ethical guidelines and report any safety or procedural issues.

It is essential that you hold a valid counterbalance forklift certificate through an RTITB, ITSSAR, NPORS, AITT or other nationally recognised training provider. It would be desirable if you also had a valid VNA licence as well, but we can look to offer this training if needed. Please upload your certificate for your valid licences when you apply for the role.

Key duties
  • Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods.
  • Picking, packing, and dispatching outgoing orders.
  • Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Ensuring compliance with SOPs and safety procedures.
  • Performing routine checks on equipment and facilities.
  • Delivering parcels across site using a company vehicle.

  • Good working level of Maths and English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Health and Safety conscious attitude to work.
  • Proactive and adaptable with a \'can-do\' attitude.
  • Forklift experience is essential for this role.
