Job Description:

We are seeking Stockroom Controllers for immediate start in Portsmouth. Full-time positions are available with 45+ hours per week, including overtime, and part-time roles up to 20 hours per week.

Starting pay is £18.60/hour during the day, £23.50/hour at night, and £28.50/hour for overtime and bank holidays worked. Roles can be PAYE or Self-Employed, with weekly or monthly payment options.

Responsibilities include:
  • Receiving deliveries and signing delivery notes or receipts
  • Inspecting goods for damage or missing items
  • Unloading goods manually, using trolleys or forklifts
  • Storing goods in designated areas
  • Maintaining records of inventory, often on a computer
  • Conducting regular stock checks
  • Occasionally selling items to customers
  • Picking, weighing, or packing goods for dispatch
  • Keeping work areas clean and organized
