Overview

Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver – Location: Wrexham. Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (plus overtime paid at 1.5x). Contract: Permanent. Shifts: 4 on / 4 off (2 days, 2 nights).

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the unloading of vehicles and checking in stock.
  • Support other departments with requests, including:
  • Replenishing the KANBAN system within production areas.
  • Manually preparing packaging types for production supply.
  • Selecting, preparing, and using packaging materials appropriately.
  • Ensuring all waste streams are serviced during shifts.
  • Collect items from across the warehouse, preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup as scheduled.
  • Carry out warehouse inventory control using scanners and/or computer systems.
  • Perform stock counts, location checks, corrections, and consolidation tasks to maintain efficiency.
  • Safely operate equipment and handle goods effectively.
  • Load and unload products, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Work in line with company Health & Safety policies at all times.
Experience & Skills Required
  • Valid FLT licence (counterbalance, including double pallet attachment).
  • Knowledge of manual handling techniques.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail with proactive problem-solving ability.
  • Organised and efficient, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong awareness of safety procedures.
