Warehouse Operative

Location: Rochdale
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Contract: Temporary

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our client’s team in Rochdale. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on work in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading containers efficiently and safely
• Handballing products of various weights and sizes
• Sorting, moving, and stacking goods
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
• Following health & safety procedures at all times
• Supporting general warehouse tasks as required by the supervisor

Requirements

• ✅ Good physical fitness, with the ability to lift up to 25kg repeatedly
• ✅ A strong work ethic and a willingness to get involved in manual tasks
• ✅ Good teamwork skills as well as the ability to work independently
• ✅ Reliability, punctuality and a positive can‑do attitude
• ✅ Previous warehouse or manual handling experience is beneficial but not essential
