Job description

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team. This position is a temp to perm role for suitable candidates and offers a mix of 80% warehouse duties and 20% driving.

Pay & Incentives

£12.45 per hour

Quarterly bonus potential of £450 after 12 weeks of service

Shift Pattern
  • Week 1: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:30 (40 hours)
  • Week 2: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (40 hours)
  • Every other Saturday: 08:00 - 12:00 (adds 4 hours; 44 hours total every other week)
Key Responsibilities
  • Picking, packing and delivering customer orders
  • Order picking from alpha-numeric locations
  • Ensuring all glass products are handled safely and delivered in suitable condition
  • Stock counting and general stock control
  • Putting stock away accurately
  • General warehousing duties as required
  • Adhering to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Requirements
  • FLT licence is advantageous
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to navigate alpha-numeric pick locations
  • A good geographical understanding of customer service areas
  • Ability to follow SOPs consistently
  • Strong team player with good communication skills
  • Hands‑on, proactive attitude with pride in producing high-quality work
Additional Information

A Drugs & Alcohol test will be carried out within the first 6 weeks.

Must be comfortable with both warehouse and driving duties.
