Warehouse Operative & Forklift Driver

Medway

Monday-Friday (12pm-10pm)

Do you have a counterbalance and / or reach truck licence ?

Do you have experience working in a mixed role including both forklift duties and general warehouse ?

I am looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative who has a forklift licence for a counterbalance and / or reach truck (in-house licences accepted) to join my client’s team! A great opportunity to join a well-established, market-leading organisation in a fast-paced role!

Duties include :

  • Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
  • Order picking using IT systems
  • Loading and unloading lorries
  • Preparing products for production
  • Moving pallets around the warehouse
  • Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and tidy
  • Any other duties required

The successful candidate will have / be :

  • Previous experience as Warehouse Operative
  • Both counterbalance and reach truck licences would be desirable, but just one will be fine (in-house licences accepted)
  • Experience using computerised stock control systems
  • Strong attention to detail skills to ensure items are picked correctly
  • Organised and able to meet KPI targets
  • Physically fit in order to work long days and stand for long periods of time on occasions
