Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in the United Kingdom is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join a client's team in Daventry. This role offers a salary of up to £26,000 per annum, covering Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. Responsibilities include booking items, picking from stores, stock checks, and using a counterbalance FLT for loading/unloading. Ideal candidates will possess a valid counterbalance licence and a clean driving record, alongside strong computer literacy and teamwork skills.

Warehouse Operative

up to £26,000 per annum

Monday - Friday 8am-4pm (37.5 hours in a week)

We have an opportunity as one of our clients is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their team. The expectations will be to carry out warehouse duties as follows:

  • Book in items received using a computer system - number and computer literacy essential.
  • Pick items from stores according to the kitting list.
  • Assist with stock checks and stock investigations.
  • Use counterbalance FLT for loading/unloading vehicles.
  • Help keep the workplace safe, clean and tidy.
  • Work with the rest of the team, and provide holiday or other cover.
  • Adhere to health and safety and environmental requirements.
  • Essential up to date counterbalance licence and a clean driving licence.
