Job description

Warehouse Operative with duties listed below. Immediate start available.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high level of health & safety standards
• Prefabricating and cutting Sikla material according to drawings
• Cleaning tools and tidying up the workshop
• Picking, packing and despatching customer orders
• Assisting with the daily logistics
• Ensuring all stock is in the correct location
• Supporting tight timescales and given deadlines
• Supporting the WM with communicating incoming and outgoing deliveries, delays, logistic issues etc.
• Helping with duties in the office
• Ensuring that the company procedures are always followed
• Checking deliveries accurately: Quality Checks for Goods in and Goods out
• Using the ERP System for standard processes in the warehouse
• Offloading and unpacking goods
• Understanding standard process like Goods in and Goods out

Skills and Qualifications

• Understanding of Health and Safety requirements
• Experience in construction, manufacturing and/or DIY skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good metric and numerical skills
