Warehouse Operations Manager

Are you an experienced warehouse leader with a strong electrical background? This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a fast-paced warehouse operation that supports major live events, concerts, and productions across the UK.

This role combines hands-on operational management with technical responsibility

a recognised electrical qualification is essential to support safe handling and troubleshooting of powered staging equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all daily warehouse activities, including equipment preparation, loading / unloading, and order fulfilment
• Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee stock audits
• Manage, train, and motivate the warehouse team
• Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, hazard-free environment
• Perform electrical checks and basic troubleshooting on powered staging equipment
• Coordinate logistics with project and transport teams to ensure on-time delivery and returns
• Drive continuous improvements in processes, efficiency, and cost control

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in warehouse or operations management (event or production industry experience ideal)
• Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
• Ability to safely work with and troubleshoot powered equipment
• Strong leadership, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with inventory systems and Microsoft Office
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs; forklift certification is a plus
