Job summary

An established engineering company in Gillingham seeks an experienced Warehouse Operative for picking and dispatching goods. This temporary role may become permanent. Responsibilities include keeping the stores clean and efficiently handling products. Previous warehouse experience and FLT skills are preferred. Working hours are from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with possible overtime.

Overview

With an immediate start, we have a great opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join an established Engineering company, working in their busy stores.

Responsibilities

• Picking, wrapping and getting goods ready to be dispatched
• Loading lorries to distribute products to clients
• Keeping stores clean and tidy and ensuring smooth flow of items through the workshop

Requirements

• Previous stores experience
• FLT experience preferred
• Heavy lifting involved

Hours & Pay

• Hours: 6.00am – 2.30pm, with expected extension to 5pm
• 2 in 4 Saturdays: 6.00am – 11.00am
• Overtime: hours worked over 40 are paid at time and a half

Term

This is a temporary role with the opportunity to become permanent.
