A well-established packaging solutions provider based in Alton is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join its operations team. The business supplies high-quality packaging products to customers across the UK and operates within a fast-paced, production-led environment where efficiency, accuracy, and customer service are key.

The Role

This is a hands-on Warehouse Manager position responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations. The successful candidate will ensure goods are received, stored, and despatched efficiently while maintaining high standards of health & safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inbound goods, storage, picking, packing, and despatch
• Lead and manage warehouse staff, including shift planning, training, and performance management
• Ensure all health & safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
• Maintain accurate stock control and effective space utilisation
• Monitor productivity and warehouse KPIs, driving continuous improvement
• Liaise with production, transport, and internal departments to ensure smooth workflow
• Ensure warehouse equipment and machinery are maintained and used safely

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Warehouse Manager or senior warehouse supervisory role
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and health & safety compliance
• Experience managing and motivating teams in a fast-paced environment
• Good organisational, leadership, and communication skills
• Hands‑on approach with the ability to lead by example
• Forklift licence desirable or willingness to obtain if required
