Major Recruitment are seeking an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Shift Manager to join our client's manufacturing site in near Evesham.

This role requires an individual who can work at pace and confident in managing the daily stock/logistics function of the business.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all materials entering the business comply with customer, regulatory, and internal standards.
  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the shift, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and KPIs.
  • Effectively manage labour and resources to meet operational requirements.
  • Ensure stock takes are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure timely delivery of stock to prevent any disruptions or stoppages in the production lines.
  • Provide leadership, support, and development to staff, to increase knowledge, share best practice and ensure professional standards are met.
  • Promote and uphold a strong HSE and team culture across the department.
What’s in for you?
  • A base of Salary £40,500 per annum
  • Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm, with one Saturday shift per month
Skills/Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in a similar role within an FMCG environment
  • The ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a team towards achieving objectives
  • Strong understanding of logistics/warehouse processes and the ability to manage in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with staff, management, and other stakeholders
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks and priorities
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and experience in process optimisation
