Join the 5-star team at The Horder Centre, where exceptional care goes beyond clinical treatment. We're looking for a motivated and personable Ward Host to be a key link between our patients and the catering team, ensuring every meal is served with care, attention to detail, and a smile. You'll play an essential role in creating a positive patient experience, from taking and delivering meal orders to maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety. As the friendly face of our catering service, you'll also support the kitchen team during peak periods and help ensure our service runs smoothly from start to finish. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive, professional environment where your work truly matters and where there's plenty of room to grow and develop.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Taking and communicating food and beverage orders for patients, visitors, and staff
  • Preparing trays and trolleys for meal service based on specific dietary needs
  • Supporting kitchen operations by serving, preparing cold dishes, and restocking service areas
  • Ensuring high standards of hygiene, food safety, and customer satisfaction
  • Attending training in food hygiene, allergen awareness, and health & safety
  • Playing an active role in patient feedback and service improvement
