Overview

As a ward hostess you will help to enhance our patient well-being and their experience in the hospital. Working closely with other hospital staff you will be expected to deliver a great level of customer service to all patients, visitors, staff and various stakeholders. Various positions available. Ward Host (Epsom). Role is based primarily at Epsom General Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide an efficient food and beverage service to patients on wards, ensuring that food and beverages meet patients’ medical, dietary and cultural needs.
• Prepare service areas with the necessary equipment, such as crockery, serving utensils and condiments.
• Be responsible for food preparation and production, maintaining a high standard of hygiene and safe food handling, ensuring all food served to patients is easily accessible.
• Work a shift pattern that includes evenings and weekends (Full Time & Part Time Contract Available).

Additional Details

• Salary £13.85 per hour. Please note this opportunity is NOT Agenda For Change and terms & conditions vary from Agenda for Change.
• Location: Epsom General Hospital; ward host role is mainly based at Epsom hospital but team may work across the trust wide, including Epsom and St Helier hospitals.
• Travel: Driving license and car are advantageous; accessible by public transport.
