Responsibilities

• Lead in the management, training, and development of medicines optimisation technicians.
• Participate in medication reconciliation and counselling.
• Manage day-to-day provision of pharmacy technician services.

Skills

Good time management

Knowledge of eldercare and mental health medicines

Education

Current and continued professional registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council

BTEC/NVQ level 3 in pharmaceutical sciences or equivalent

Experience of working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team

Experience managing staff

Experience of working within community and mental health hospital settings
