Job summary

A social care organization is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker in Bristol to support a hostel service for long-term homeless men and women. You will ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents during night shifts, providing emotional support and maintaining a safe environment. Candidates should have at least 6 months of relevant experience, be able to provide references, and ideally have an Enhanced DBS. Competitive pay of £13.13 - £14.60 per hour is offered.

Are you passionate about making a difference for people experiencing homelessness? We're looking for a Waking Night Support Worker to join our team in Bristol, supporting a hostel service for 15 long-term homeless men and women.

About the Role

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents overnight.

  • Providing emotional support to residents.
  • Carrying out property inspections and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Preparing the hostel for the morning handover.
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 6 months relevant experience in homelessness, housing support, or similar.
  • Ability to provide 3 years of referencing.
  • Enhanced DBS (ideally registered on the Update Service).
