Job summary

A tutoring recruitment agency in Wakefield is looking for a dedicated 1:1 Tutor to assist students in their learning journey. The ideal candidate should be hardworking, experienced with children, and capable of tutoring in Maths and English. Job description

We are currently recruiting for tutors in Wakefield! The ideal candidate should be hardworking, dedicated, and eager to aid students in their learning journey. Candidates should have experience working with children, whether that be tuition, teaching and classroom roles, or pastoral and care employment.

Position: 1:1 Tutor
Start date: ASAP
End date: Ongoing, open-ended
Area: WF7
Working hours: 2 Hours Maths, 2 Hours English. Our Working hours are flexible, between Monday through Friday, 9am-4pm
Pay Rate: GBP20 - GBP30 per hour

Experience, Training and Qualifications
  • QTS (desired but not required), or Previous experience of working with students on 1:1 basis.
  • Proven track record of improving students performances.
  • Team Teach Qualification would be highly desirable, but not required.
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as Safeguarding training is provided)
  • DBS on update service.
Eligibility
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK.
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide two professional references from your previous two years of employment.
