Salary: £12.71 per hour

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Implement individual support plans and activities in a safe and supportive environment.
  • Communicate effectively with service users, families and professionals, respecting confidentiality at all times.
  • Support service users with meal preparation, laundry, cleaning and participation in social events.
  • Maintain accurate notes and records as required.
  • Work as part of a team to deliver high quality care.
Personal Characteristics
  • Diploma in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards one).
  • Experience supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and/or mental health issues.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Confidence to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Passion for working with vulnerable adults.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and achieving high standards of care.
