Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in Liverpool is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to manage waiting lists and provide an efficient administrative service. Candidates must have RSA 11 or equivalent and experience in service improvement systems. Ideal for those with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to present data clearly. Qualifications

Overview

The post holder will manage and monitor waiting lists to ensure that procedures are carried out within Trust waiting list management policies and targets. The post holder will provide and maintain an efficient and effective administrative service, undertaking a range of administrative duties in line with local policies and procedures. The post holder will be monitoring DM01 reports and also conduct pre-admission/pre-attendance calling to reduce DNA rates along with data cleansing exercises and validation of the waiting list.

Responsibilities

  • Be a team player and cover for colleagues during absences when required.
Qualifications and Skills
  • RSA 11 or equivalent; demonstrable experience and knowledge of service improvement systems; good working knowledge of computers and software packages/ECDL.

  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of a wide range of local hospital systems/processes and policies; good basic numeracy skills.

Organisation and About the Trust

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts. The merger provides an opportunity to reconfigure services to improve quality of care and health outcomes.
