Role Overview
We're looking for an exceptional commercial leader — part strategist, part operator — who can turn a category-defining product into a household name. As VP Growth, you will own the entire growth engine: from awareness to acquisition, retention, and lifetime value. You'll scale our business efficiently and intelligently — not through headcount, but through precision, automation, and AI-driven performance. This is a career-defining opportunity for a proven operator who has already built and scaled successful consumer or tech businesses, and now wants to do it again with a product that can change millions of lives. Every campaign, every touchpoint, and every decision must reflect the same rigor and reliability as the product itself.
Core Responsibilities
Commercial Growth Leadership
- Own the full customer journey — from awareness to conversion, retention, and advocacy.
- Lead integrated growth across SEO, Paid Search, Paid Social, PR, CRM, and Affiliate channels.
- Combine performance, brand, and conversion optimization into one cohesive growth strategy.
- Overlook our B2B acquisition funnel from incoming leads to sealed deals that are handed over to our operations teams.
- Own pricing and market expansion strategy and execution.
- Represent the commercial function within the leadership team — driving clarity, accountability, and alignment around business priorities.
- Act as the voice and owner of commercial performance at the executive level.
Strategy, Forecasting & Budget Ownership
- Develop, own, and manage the commercial and marketing budget, ensuring efficient capital allocation across channels and markets.
- Build and continuously improve forecasting models for revenue, acquisition, and retention performance.
- Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts tied to key business metrics.
- Drive budget discipline, ROI measurement, and financial accountability across the commercial organization.
AI-Driven Marketing Operations
- Place AI and data at the core of how marketing decisions are made and executed.
- Use predictive analytics, automation, and machine learning to optimize targeting, creative testing, and retention strategies.
- Operate with a small, high-impact team that leverages technology to achieve scale.
Brand Vision & Creative Direction
- Define and elevate the brandʼs narrative and emotional impact.
- Translate medical credibility and scientific validation into trust, desire, and differentiation.
- Build a brand that customers love, physicians respect, and competitors canʼt replicate.
Channel & Distribution Excellence
- Oversee all commercial channels, including the website, webshop, Amazon, Galaxus, and emerging retail partners.
- Ensure third-party channels are fully stocked, compliant, and optimized for growth.
- Drive continuous improvement in conversion rate and customer experience.
- Build and manage high-value external partnerships and agency relationships to maximize commercial output.
Leadership, Team & Culture
- Build a "Navy SEAL" team: small, specialized, high-performing, and mission-aligned.
- Hire, develop, and retain top talent across key commercial disciplines.
- Instill a culture of accountability, speed, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate across Product, Medical, and Operations to ensure flawless execution in a regulated environment.
- Take full accountability for commercial results — treating the commercial function as your own business.
Requirements
Background & Experience
- 10+ years in senior marketing, growth, or commercial leadership roles — ideally in consumer tech, health tech, or e-commerce.
- Proven success building and scaling at least one (ideally two) significant growth stories that created substantial enterprise value.
- Deep knowledge of performance marketing, funnel optimization, and CRO.
- Strategic understanding of brand building and creative development.
- Highly data- and AI-literate: experienced with automation, analytics, and decision systems.
- Strong financial acumen — experience in forecasting, budgeting, and commercial planning.
- Skilled in leading compact, expert teams and managing external partners effectively.
- Med-tech experience is a plus, but operational and commercial excellence matter most.
