This role supports the Consumer Products & Propositions team and is hybrid, with work split between the office and home. Qualifications

• Fully qualified UK Lawyer with consumer product and regulatory experience.
• Ideally experience of product and proposition innovation.
• Experience of advising on insurance products or private banking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of best practice legal strategies for risk management and compliance.
• Proactive consumer banking Legal advice and support.
• Representation of the bank in legal proceedings related to consumer banking.
• Creation and periodic review of Legal documents.
• Legal research and analysis to ensure compliance.
• Developing training programmes on legal requirements.
• Pro-active identification and communication of legal rules.
