Overview

The Volunteering and Outreach team has delivered a wide-ranging volunteering and community sport programme for the last 30 years. Access to high quality facilities and strong community links provide scope to develop the programme further, offering greater opportunities, initiatives and projects.

Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of the current volunteering and outreach programme
  • Identify and develop new community volunteering opportunities in collaboration with the team
  • Recruit and process coaches and volunteers
  • Promote and market activity
  • Record volunteering activity and liaise with participants, volunteers and community partners
  • Train volunteers in activity delivery and personally deliver activities to participants where necessary
  • Ensure effective project development and sport delivery within the role
