A community support organization in Liverpool is seeking a Criminal Justice Support Volunteer to assist service users in their recovery journey. In this role, you'll provide administrative support, help manage appointments, and ensure effective communication with service users and agencies. Training and support will be provided, offering a unique opportunity to make a difference in the community. This volunteer position requires you to be at least 18 years old and undergo a DBS check.

At River you will support people to help them change the direction of their life, grow as an individual, and live life to its full potential. As a Criminal Justice Support Volunteer, you will be working in close collaboration with Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinators and Criminal Justice Services. You will be assisting Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinators in their caseload management, supporting the service user through their community order or licence conditions. This can include completing assessments, risk management plans, support in facilitating groups and undertaking one to one work.
This is an exciting opportunity which will allow you to gain experience of working within both the Recovery Coordinators and criminal justice fields. You will be part of a supportive team and will receive comprehensive training and guidance to develop within the role. This is rewarding role where you can make a real difference to the lives of others.
This role is based in our busy city centre hub.
