A global community of education leaders driving impactful change. Our client believes that by uniting the global learning community and leading an intellectually honest conversation about the current state and future of learning, we can revolutionise education, and ultimately change the world.

The community is disruptive, brave, international and senior. It is untethered by legacy, politics or geography and includes government, K-12 and higher ed leaders as well as tech companies, investors and start-ups.

The brand drives conversation about how to give everyone, regardless of age, ethnicity or wealth, the opportunity to reach their greatest potential in a rapidly evolving world. As such they delivera weekly memoproviding a global roundup of education news, a weekly podcast showcasing the work of individuals doing things differently, and an annual conference. The conference provides a platform to showcase the thought-leadership of those in the community, alongside an industry-leading, curated, 1-2-1 meet up programme for learning providers to connect with selected educator leaders (based on tailored recommendations). The latter is where your role comes into the equation.

The Role of VIP Delegate Acquisition Executive

The purpose of your role will be to build relationships with and persuade senior educator leaders to enroll onto the conference and 1-2-1 meet ups so that the sponsorship sales team can then sell meetings packages to learning providers who would like to talk to these educator leaders about relevant solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Be creative in finding new and effective ways to recruit educator leaders to join the community and attend the events
  • Work with key prospective attendees to enrol them onto relevant 1-2-1 meeting programmes
  • Plan and execute attendee acquisition plans
  • Take ownership of key and new business accounts, based on identified audience growth areas
  • Utilise content to attract and retain new community members
  • Identify key individuals to target for attendance
  • Actively promote the 1-2-1 meet up programme to existing partners
  • Track registration, producing contingency plans where necessary to meet target revenue and community development goals

  • 2:1 or 1st degree from a top 30 UK university
  • Be smart and a quick learner
  • Be comfortable working with driven people who are focused on building an admired and loved product and experience for the industry
  • Be extremely well organised
  • Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Be an effective salesperson
  • Have strong problem-solving and follow-up skills
  • Care about the detail in everything you do
  • Be comfortable in a fast-paced, high growth, entrepreneurial environment
  • Be comfortable working with several other teams, including the core sales team, and in different geographies
  • Be on top of industry news and trends (funding raised, acquisitions, company results, etc.)
