A music education organization in Cheam is seeking a skilled Viola tutor to inspire and educate young musicians at their Saturday Music Academy. The role involves teaching Viola for approximately 3.5 hours on Saturday mornings and potentially in both one-on-one and group settings. Ideal candidates show a passion for music education and the ability to engage with students effectively. Opportunities to also teach Violin are preferable.

Overview

Sutton Music Trust (SMT) seek a skilled and engaging Viola tutor to teach at our Saturday Music Academy in Cheam. If you are passionate about music education and playing a part in the progression of young musicians, we look forward to hearing from you!

Responsibilities

We seek candidates who can:

  • Teach Viola at our Saturday Music Academy (approximately 3.5 hours of teaching available on Saturday mornings).

Experience working with whole-class groups of children and young people is desirable.
