Job summary

An international leader in nuclear energy is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee subcontractor contract management on the HPC site. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contracts between the company and subcontractors, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to project management standards. Candidates should have a Master’s degree and strong organizational, communication, and technical skills. Prior experience in the nuclear sector is favored.

The Project engineer in charge of the subcontractor follow up is responsible for the contract management of the IB subcontractors on the HPC site.

Overview

He is a member of the HPC IBC project team and reports to the IBC EM2 Contract Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the contract between Framatome IB and its subcontractors on the HPC site.
  • Follow the realization of the contracts on site.
  • Manage the interface between subcontractors, the customer, and Framatome.
  • Manage change control.
  • Coordinate with site management, client, project, schedule, HSE, suppliers, engineering department, and purchasing department.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master’s degree.
  • Previous nuclear experience is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with stakeholders, including project, engineering groups, customers, and suppliers.
  • Strong organizational, methodological, and didactic skills.
  • Experience in budget management and cost control.
  • Project management skills: meeting milestones, results, federating stakeholders.
  • Communication skills: very good verbal and written English (fluent).
  • Technical skills: MS Project, Excel, SAP.
  • Knowledge of contract management, scheduling, and HSE.
